Mrs. Harold ' Errington
returned -home from
Wingham ,Hospital on
Thursday. What was first
thought to be a heart attack
turned out to he a muscle
spasm under the rib cage
which made breathing, dif-
ficult temporarily. Dorothy
now feels able to resume her
regular activities.
Sympathy is 'extended to
relatives of Mrs. Mary Barr
who died following a stroke on
Jan 7. She had made her
home for the past several
years with her daughter
Annie, and son-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Kitchener Finnigan.

Lord's Supper was ad-
ministered at •Dungannon
United Church on Sunday.
Mrs. Greg Jarvis (nee Peggy
Hodges), was admitted to
membership and welcomed
to share the communion
service. Rev. H.G. Dobson
commended the Sunday
School children and teachers
on their faithful attendance
despite the wintry weather.

of the weekend With Mr. and
Mrs. Graham McNee and
attended funeral, rites for
Sandra's grandmother, Mrs.
Mary Barr.

passed away in Wingham
Hospital on Saturday after a

Convention in November at
Tillsonburg was given by the
delegate, Mrs. Harry Girvin,
who added several humorous
incidents.
Mrs. Clifford Purdon has
offered to have a quilting at
her home, the top and lining
for which she is donating.
Mrs. Gordon Finnigan of-
fered to donate the batt.
A committee to receive
written accounts or histories
for the book is: Mrs. Robt.
Irvin, Mrs. Warren Zinn and
Mrs. Cecil Blake.
The motto on quilting was
given by Mrs. A. Kerr for
Mrs. Wilmer Rutledge who is
in hospital with pneumonia. A
discussien, followed on prices
for quilting projects.
Following the collection the
-Queen and W.I. grace were,
ithtg and all, enjoyed the
lunch of" sandwiches and
relishes, plus Christmas
cake. Hostesses were Mrs. G.
McNee and Mrs. Russell

15, 1976. The Clerk had
received no appeals' on these
• assessments, and no owner on
the drain appeared before, the
Court, ,.therefore Councillors
Stothers and Cranston moved
• to close the Court of Revision
' and to Uphold the engineer's
assessments on the drain.
• Following the closing of the
Court of Revisionthe reeve
and "font- councillors each
subscribed to the Oath of
Elected Office.
• The clerk received one
tender to supply a half ton
pick-up truck' for the town-
ship, and it was opened and
considered. In general,
Council members felt the
price was a fair one, and a
motion by Councillors
Stothers and Foran accepted
the tender of Hayter-Chev-
Olds Ltd.,Goderich to supply
a 1977 Cevrolet 1,4 ton pick-
up truck at $5,140.68 plus tax,
with delivery in ap-
• prOXimately six weeks,,

Ministry of Transportation
and Communications.
