ning for a jitney t be held
January 12. It will start at
5:00 p.m. with a Happy Half
Hour with reduced prices for
drinks. The first game will
start at 5:30 p.m. and dinner
will be served at 7:30 p.m.

Winter Games' title
The Kincardine Winter
Games Tournament held over
the holiday was very ,Isuc-
cessful for the Lakeport Steel
Bantams. After blasting
Wingham 20-2 in their first
game and trouncing
Walkerton 7-3 later that af-
ternoon the Steelers qualified
for the diampionship game
against Niagara Falls "AA".
The Steelers took an early
lead in the game when Larry
Madge picked.up a pass from
Danny Maillet and made no
f...mistake. Danny Maillet and
Rob Trebish combined for the
Steelers' second goal and
before the first period was
over Goderich was ahead 4-0
with the other. two goals
scored by Larry Madge
assisted by Rob Trebish and
Mike Hodges assisted by John
Clements and Jim Costello.
Niagara Falls came out in
the second period ready to
take "the lead but were sur-
prised when they only
managed one goal. Goderich
howeverwent ahead with two
more when Danny Maillet
scored on a breakaway. And
then. Larry Madge scored
again from Rob Trebish and
Danny Maillet.

The ,Clinton Mustangs are
back on the right track finally
with a pair of victories last
weekend.
The first victory was
relatively easy over Hanover,
24-3, arrdlast Sunday at home
against Port Elgin Clinton
won 10-3.
After their . annual
Christmas slump, the
,Mustangslave 17 victories, 6
losses and one tie, with the
schedule two thirds over.
In the. Hanover game last
• Thursday, .newcomer Grant
Shelton., , along with Tim
• MacLean and Robert Heard
set the ,pace with four goals
each. - —
Randy Millar followed with
three, Mark King had a pair
and singles by Steve Gook,
Pete Thompson,, John Hanly,
Bill Roy, Don Gransden, Paul
Robinson and Ron Sowerby
handled the Clinton-
scoring.Clinton outshot their
opponents 85-17.
Hanover came to town with
just • eight players for the
contest. • .
Last Sunday night, George
Schemott and the Port Elgin
Bears came to town with
hopes of a victory by out-,
muscling the Stangs, but to no
avail as the Stangt are tit -M
to the hardhiting Bears.
