shipments of motor graders
ever to. leave . Canada this
week when 163 machines
were loaded onto a freighter
in New Brunswick bound for
Turkey. The total value of the
shipment was $7.1 million

addition to the front of the
Goderich Memorial Arena at
the $84,000 cost.

Skating Club met on July 14 -to
organize a Raise The Roof

John Maillet. Figure skaters,
and hockey players will be
out at the mall this weekend

The 1976 Festival of the
Arts, 'held last week oni the
Square, was 'a resounding
success once again.
Hundreds of requests were
filled and many„pore dreams
came true last Wednesday
evening as' over ---100- people•
attended the opening of the
Goderich Township Park at
Black's Point. The park, for
day use. .only, includes.
plumbing facilities, sandy
"beaches, ” playing fields,
parking.and picnic tables.

As the festival season
continues, the Kin Carnival,
held on The Square in con-
junction with the annual
Sidewalk Sale, was another
unqualified success.
Everyone thoroughly en-
joyed themselves, and' the
only complaints came
Saturday when the beer tent
ran out of•one brand -.of beer.
