The, uncertainty of just
when the Goderich Arena will
re -open is causing difficulties
for the local Lions Cfub and
its plans for the annual Young
Canada Week hockey tour-
nament.. However, at- its
meeting last week, the club
agreed to commit itself .to the
tournament:.
No final decisionhas _been
made, but the , club is
arranging to book the ice -
time necessary at the Clinton
arena should' the local
facilities not be ready in time.
Organizer Bill Stanbury
stressed, however, that if the
Goderich arena repairs were
completed in time for the
tournament, it would be held
in Goderich'.
The tournament is set to get
underway on Friday, March.
18 and continue through to
Saturday, March 27 with only
Sunday, March 20 as an off
day. Over 1(60 teams will be
