The Road Superintendent. •Mel Good presented" one tender for a fully equipped tandem truck snowplough and operators from Nicholson Haulage, Bluevale•at $20. per hour working time and $18. per day standing time. Some discussion took place regardingthe leasing' of a grader at $1400. per month or re -advertising. The road superintendent was in- structed'to contact the Huron County • Engineer about standing time. On a motion of Deputy - Reeve Durst and Councillor Kernighan"-Council accepted the tender of Nicholson Haulage at, - $20 per hour working time with a decision to try to negotiate a lower rate for standing time to be approved by Reeve McNeil . An application for amen- dment to the Restricted Area Zoning Order of November 29, 1973 involving a parking lot on Pt Lt 8• Saltford from the Saltford 'Valley Hall Inc. was discussed and approved with reservations where residential area and drainage on a motion of Councillors Kernighan and MacPhee: Deputy -Reeve Durst, Township Representative on the Land Fill Site Committee indicated that an, increase in operating expenses of 10 ' percent was indicated for 1977. A resolution- from the " a Town of.—Markham about sports equipment was or- dered filed. The Clerk informed Council '— "that, • the Municipal Nomination Forms and' Supplies were ordered.and the voters' list w,ns being printed. The date for a municipal ratepayer's meeting is to be decided at the next Council meeting. - On a motion of Councillor MacPhee and.
