'At the Council meeting. of
October 19 the minutes
pertaining to the dis-
connecting of the electricity
at the old Township Shed was
rescinded.
Mr. Thompson, of.
Alexander; and Chapman
Real Estate, Fred Sandy,
owner and Norman Coulter,
developer approached
'Council about a plan to
develop approximately 20`
residential`, lots in Ridgewood
Park .with a private. 66 foot
right-of-way by individual
laxed severance. .'
Mr. Coulter. informed
Council that the lots were
surveyed as part of a former
plan with an area of from
16,000 sq. ft. to 22,000 sq. ft.
The houses „were to be
comparable. to 'the present
three now built and occupied.
Septic tanks and private wells•
were,to be preferred'.
Mr. Sandy stated that the
roadway would be improved
to accommodate all service
veTiicles.and a right-of-way to
the beach supplied. Council
informed the owner and
developer that the road would
have to be built to standard
before 'any.,. procedure for
Township ownership Would be
considered.

discussion took place
regardingthe leasing' of a
grader at $1400. per month or
re -advertising. The road
superintendent was in-
structed'to contact the Huron
County • Engineer about
standing time.
On a motion of Deputy -
Reeve Durst and Councillor
Kernighan"-Council accepted
the tender of Nicholson
Haulage at, - $20 per hour
working time with a decision
to try to negotiate a lower
rate for standing time to be
approved by Reeve McNeil .
An application for amen-
dment to the Restricted Area
Zoning Order of November
29, 1973 involving a parking
lot on Pt Lt 8• Saltford from
the Saltford 'Valley Hall Inc.
was discussed and approved
with reservations where
residential area and drainage
on a motion of Councillors
Kernighan and MacPhee:

indicated that an, increase in
operating expenses of 10 '
percent was indicated for
