Jim McCaul put more than enough effort into thisshot he took in an instructional, curling
class at the Maitland Curling Club Tuesday night: Jim is. attending the classes hoping to
learn the sport for this winter's competition and although he took a spill on this effort he.
wasn't as bad a curler as it seems. He did not ha"the proper footwear for curling and
thus had no control on the ice surface.. The classes are being handled by Ron Klages and
attracted about 20 new curlers for the season. (Staff -photo)
