Council - altered their secondary. plan. and established a • procedure applicants must follow when applying for a building permit for a residence in,.an agridultural area. Counoil begins' the procedure giving three readings to 'a spot. zoning bylaw to permit the. use; The . bylaw is then cir- culated to all owners within 400 feet of the siterequest and tothe authorities designated by • the , Ontario Municipal Board. After 14 days a copy of the .bylaw .wil-1 be sent to the O.M.B.. ai ng with all'lettert. of,objection and•corxcurrence and affidavits that prove that the township circulated the • bylaw properly and con-. formed to an amended -bylaw of the township permitting • the township to alter the zoning. Mr. Davidson pointed Out thatT an alternative ,to • the situation may be to deny the request and let the applicant take. initiative and prove that a non.conforming use should. be permitted. . Council also used the meeting with the planner to discuss two requests made in the township to"alter the plan.
