Mile River. The fish is 39 inches long and 101/2. inches
thick. Terry is the son' pf Mr. and •Mrs. Sam Brown and

in the Huron division of the
Huron -Perth Conference this
season. �•
In an eight match schedule
coach Bill Worsell's team
won five' of their last six
matches after a slow start.
Central Huron of Clinton;
and Wingham; the top two ,
finishers in Huron, will
represent their division in the
Huron -Perth' championships.

Seaforth, and blanked South

The GDCI junior Vikings
won their third game of the
schedule in Huron-PerthConference football,
swamping the1 Wingham
Madill Mustangs 59-0 iri•-
Wngham last Thursday. The
Viking's, . who have lost two
games in league play, came
up with their best offensive
game of the season, with a
total of 447 yards gained.
Dennis Donnelly, running
at fullback and sharing
quarterbacking duties with
Mike .Hovey on offence, as
well. as 'playing. a key role
defensively, was the Vikings
most outstanding player..
Donnelly showed the ability
to pass accurately, hitting
receiversTom Doherty and
Roger Lewis with regularity.
Three of the Vikings' touch-
downs came on passing plays.
Doherty went 25 yards on a
pass' and run play in the
second quarter and Leis
gathered in a 20 yard pass for
another touchdown in the.
final quarter. Randy Little
went 61 yards for the third
one on a third quarter pass
play.
The Vikings' passing attack
kept the Mustang defence
open to exploitation along the
ground. Donnelly rang40
yards on a fullback dive -play
in the first quarter for a
touchdown and went 22 yards
on a quarterback keeper for
another in the third quarter.
Little got his second touch-
down on a 26 yard sweep and

Last.' weekend,. the Clinton
Mustangs travelled to Kin-
cardine' on Friday night and.
• were beaten by the home
team 10 - 6. Sunday night they
played host to the Walkerton
Black Hawks and .looked like
a much different team while
they trounced the Black
Hawks l 0 -1.
The Stangs travelled to
Hanover last Tuesday night
and a victory in that game
would leave the Stangs with
an impressive 5 - 1 (Won -
Lost) record. -
In the Kincardine game LastFriday, after falling behftnd
by a score. of 7,- 1 .after two
periods of play, the Stangs
came out flying in the third
period.
Clinton's lone goal in the
second period came from the
stick of team captain Raridy
Millar.
'Goal scorers for Clinton in
the third period when they
made desperate comeback
were fired by Pete Thomp-
son, Steve Cook, Randy
Millar, Tim McLean and
newcomer Mark King.
In the home game last
Sunday night, played before
about 350 fans the Stangs
were ....led_ _b_y_..Tir+o Maclean.
with a hat trick.
• Clinton opened the scoring
on „ goal by Ron Sowerby
only to have Walkerton tie it
up at the 12:00 minute mark
on a goal by Dan Meyer. The
Stangs then finished off the
period on a goal by Randy.
Millar.
The Stangs dominated the
game for the remaining two
periods with goals coming
from • Tim MacLean with
three, and singles by Bill Roy,
Paul Robinson, Allan' Taylor,
Jamie Thompson and Ken
Robinson.
The game produced only
six minor penalties to Clinton
and nine minor penalties to
Walkerton. Clinton netminder
Juergen Hellman was beaten
once on nineteen Walkerton
shots.
The Mustangs play host to
the new Port •Elgin Jr. "C"
entry this Friday night, Oct.
29. at 8:30 p.m. The Port Elgin
Northwestern Huskies in a
senior -junior double-header,
with the senior game' being
played first, beginning at 2
P.m.

period the Colts followed with
