This year as in the past, the WOAA is co-ordi,pating the referee clinics in tiffs 'area in accordance with the- stan- dards developed by the•CAHA and known as the National Referee's Certification Program. . • The.'. training program for all . referees in Canada has been broken down into six levels which are: levee one, new referees„ and house league; level .two, com- petitive minor hockey; level three, rt iior hockey play-offs and lines:Ilan 'in -Junior "B", t`C and "D" games; level four, referee, Tr: "B "., "C" and "D", linesm n -Jr, and Sr , "A";.• level five, referee Jr. "A", Int. Offensive coach George ' Young desc'ribed Walters' play selection as "excellent" and commented on the steady improvement- shown by—the Vikings signor caller over last season and the early part of this one. • Mr. Hodges aid. "There are faults in any new system and naturally there. are those who reject and condemn the program," said Mr. Hodges..
