Bowling Club held their
annual dinner on Thursday,
September- 30. at North Street
United Church.
81 members 'and . -new
bowlers.` enjoyed a . dinner.
served . by the ,ladies • of the
Church.. After dinner. ..there
was, a short singsong led by
Harold Knisley and ac-
companied by Mrs. Berith
Jessop at the piano. Irene
White, president of the ladies'
section, welcomed the
members. Ted White, the
men's president, gave. a
resume of the year's ac-
tivities and accomplishments
referring to grants from. New
Horizons, Wintario and
individual members. .
The "facelift" under th,e..
• guidance of Fred Richardson
.was mentioned, also
available bowls which new
members may use for a fee in
place of purchasing their own •
and the increase in mem-.
• bership due to individual
enthusiasm.

the tournaments arranged by

After dinner: card .tables
were set up for Euchre, 500
and Bridge. The evening.
closed on a .happy note as
lucky draws were made in,
place of prizes.
• There is still bowling in the
afternoons as long as weather
permits. Monthly card
parties are being planned for
the winter season.

record at one win and one loss
with a • 23-19 victory over
Stratford Central in Stratford
last Thursday. .
.Lori Keller and Audrey

honours for the .GDCI girls,
getting, six . points each.
Vandenheuvel also 'controlled
the 'boards with .'her.

probably the outstanding
player of the game. '

lead the Tail Ends who are in
fourth spot with 10 points.
Roy's Boys grabbed three
points behind Manfred.
•Papernitsch' who rolled a 363

his club's scoreless season.
The Boys are in the cellar
