MISCELLANEOUS SHOWER
A 'Miscellaneous shower was given
at the home of Mrs.. 3. W. Horn on
Thursday evening of last week for
Miss Edna Bissett, bride elect. About
twenty young ladies were present'
and a most sociable evening was
spent. Miss Bissett' was the reci-
pient of many beautiful gifts. A
deinty luncheon was served.
TEE LATE MRS. NO1lRELL
Mrs. Richard Harrell passed away
on Monday, following a paralytic
stroke on Thursday of last week. The
deceased was 56 years, 9 months and
17 days. Her maiden name was
EIiza Jane Oliver , She was born
near Whitby and after her marriage
to Mr. Iiorrell about 37 years ago
they moved to Exeter, Mr. Morrell
predeceasing her about 24 years ago.
She is survived by one son Herbert,
of London.
DIED IN LONDON
Mrs. Geo. Lyne, of London, died l
last week at the home of her daugh-
ter, Mrs. Geo. Winterbottom, in her
32nd year. Besides her daughter,
one son Wesley, of Edmonton, sur-
vives. Two brothers and one sister
also survive, viz: Messrs. James and
