ladies had a chance to show
• their various crafts and teach
the other ladies how, they
made the beautiful , and
imaginative pieces. It was
surprising how easy many of
them were to learn and once
you learn, the basics your
imagination just seems to
•take °Ver. .Some of the crafts
the ladies brought were
burlap flowers, broomstick
knitting, crocheting, and
macrame.
Many of the crafts we know
today have been handed down
from • generation • to
generation and with the
enthusiasm thcivin last
Wednesday they are a part of
our heritage that will never
be Icaripletely lost. Many
thanks to the ladies for
sharing their talents with:
• everyone and making it.a fun
" and enjoyable morning.
Next week we will be
having a plant sale along with
a dikussian on house plants
with Mrs. Mary Bourcleau.
