marriage of Dianne Marilyn, daughter of Mr: and Mrs.
:Harold. Young of Goderich, and RichardBrian son of Mr.

Royalaofficiated at the 4 o'clock ceremony on Valentine's

. Given in marriage by her father, the bride'wore a gown
of jersey sata peace Imported seeded`. pearls trimmed'
the mandarin neckline and' cuffs of the semi-full sleeves,
Tiny gathers.accented the front andback of ,the dainty
' bodice of the empire waistline, the skirt falling softly to a
long" cathedral train. Her headdress; a new Camelot
juliet; was trimmed. with tiers 'of seeded 'pearls and her
silk illusion veil was edged with imported lace rosettes.'
`She, carried a cascading bouquet of red rosebuds and
white carnations-.: • •
Miss Cheryl' Kotyk of Goderich was'maid'of honor with
Mrs, Ilona. Murch and Miss Bonnie MacLean, sister of
the' groom, as bridesmaids. The girls wore red velvet
empire line dresses trimmed with white; ornate eyelet.
„lace. To complete their ensemble the girls•'•wore red.
'picture .fiats and carried variegatedred and white car-
nations cascading from their white maribon muffs. ..-
Kathleen Young of Stratford, niece of the bride,' acted
,as fl•owergirl; and wore. a red gown of similar styling to,
'the ones worn by the senior attendants.' She ,carried .a
small white basket of red mums and white carnations.
The mother of the 'bride wore a watermelon:polyester• '.
silk knit gown with mandarin neckline and long straight
'' • sleeves, both trimmed with tiny•seeded pearls.
The.grodm's, mother chose a two-tone French blue sills
knit empire gown.
Barry Melish was best man with Wayne MacLean,
°.brother of the groom, and Ron Young, brother of the
bride, ushering. -
The Valentine theme:was further carried through at
-. the reception at the White Carnation, Holmesville.
