Mr. Thos. J: Array, a former resi-
dent of Stephen, •died at his home
in Idanrilton on June 3rd, after an
illness of
over six months. n s. Some.
years ago Mr, Amy was injured at
a barn raising, one oVbis lungs hav-
ing been' severely crushed, and from
which he never fully recovered. A-
bout Six months ago he was taken
down with 'influenza and since that
time his life has been despaired of.
Deceased was born in Stephen town-
ship, being..a son of the late- Moses
Array-. He moved to Hamilton about
five years ago. He 'is survived by his
widow, two sons and four daughters,
all of the latter residing in Michigan
staate, The remains were interred in
Hamilton.

June 3rd of an old and respected
pioneer of the Township of Usborne
in the person of Mr. William Henry
Passmore: TIie deceased was' aged
77 years, 11 months and 2 days.

several months suffering from asth-
ma and heart trouble but. had 'been
seriously ill only a few days.He was
born on board ship on the St. Law-
rence River when his parents were

on, their way to London in a Chev-
rolet car. They were meeting an-
other car on the Proof -Line while a
third car in which 14ir. and Mrs.
Harry Wilkins and their baby of
London township, were travelling
west ou the 15th concession. The
Wilkin; car ran into the Chevrolet
and turned turtle. Mrs. Wilkins and
bay were pinned beneath the steer-
ing 'wheel.. Both Mr. and Mrs. Wil-
kins were seriously hurt but . the
babe was unhurt. Three wheels were
ripped off the ear driven by 13oui-
ter, Mr, Boulter received injury in
bis foot. He returned' home .on Tues-

lucky day for Exeter bowlers. The
boys started early in the season to
