Herbert Patti Grammer, at Vi - hank, Sask., on Nov. '201h. He was the eldest son of Rev. P. Granpner, of this place and died' of influenza :tt the age of 25 years, 2 days. The deceased: was born in Medina, N. Y., on Nov. 13, 1893 and spent, most of his boy- hood days in Elmira, Ont. Here lie` was confirmed in SL Paul's Evangelical; Lutheran church, and in 1905 entered the Concordia College at fort Wayne; Ind., to prepare for the ministry. lir June' 1917, he graduated. from the Theological Seminary at St. Louis, 1'to., and. after his ordination in Dashwood entered upon his duties as Missionary at Vibank, Kipling and , Windthoist, Sask., on°Sept,:: 2nd, 1917, -where he re- mained until the time of his death.
