135 returned soldiers dram 'theLoa-.
don Convalescent hospital were en -I
tertained in town on Wednesday af-
ternoon or last week. Shortly atter
four o'clock a number of autos gaily
decorated with flags arrived in town
bearing the returned soldiers. They
were met with school children bear-
ing ;flags. The town was also gaily
decorated ,with flags and 'streamers
and a large number of citizens turn-
ed out to welcome the bays. They
were taken to the Town Hall ;'and
shore addresses were given by Mr. F.

Major Osborne thanked the ladies for
the splendid, treatment accorded the
boys. Tables- were "set in the Town
