saw a young woman dressed in it kha-
ki Russian blouse, long khaki trou-
sers and a khaki turban, writes a vis-
itor in London. She was perched on
a ladder, busily washing windows.
Hundreds passed the spot every min-
ute but few even raised their eyes to
look her.
