On Tuesday evening last a very en-
joyabl5 evenirIg sac spent at th t home
.of Mrs. John Ell'ott when her Sunday
'school class of No. 2 girls of James
St. Methodist church inet at her home
and presented her wi' h a 'Bible and
address in appreciation of her valu-
able services as their teacher dar-
ing the year. The • evening was spent
in games and other amus:enientls and
at midfnight a light lunch was ser-
ved. Miss Mae Hlarnees read the add-
ress and 44liass Irene Easterbrook pre-
sented the 03ib1e. The addresa is as

1 Mrs. Israel Harris pasesd -away on
Sunday 'Dec. the 17th at the age of
62 years. The 'deceased, was raised in
,the Township of Usborne and all. her
life before coming. t :Exeter was

th of 'Osborne 'until the death of her
husband. She ;s survived by four
sisters. Mrs, Robert Kerslake of tIs-
borne; Mrs. K. Hooper of Blanshard;
Mrs. M' ,J. Harris, of Exeter; and
Mrs. Smallacombe of. Crystal City,.
Manitoba. The ,funeral private was
held Wednesday afternoon from the.
home of;Mr, Sid Davis. Mrs ,Davits be-
ing a 'twice of the deceased. Inter-
ment in' the Exetercemetery.
