trenches for nearly 41 year, and would
be glad to get another look' at dear

ed only once since I came out here
and that was not very yeirious. •We
sometimes ,get quite a hard time, but
on the whole we. are notf treated very
badly, and all the boys are quite
setisfied.

thanks and d.eetp gratitude for the
hely given, me in the matter of cloth-
ing for the fire sufferers of -Mon-
teith New Ontario. As at one time
i lived right there for a yea::1mcng
them till their welfare in the awful fire
made me very anxious. I at once got
into communication with them to l:nd
put who' was alive and who had per-
ished, and we now have a partial list
of- dead right at' hIonteiteh, and a list
of the ones burned out, and left des-
titute of homes, clothing or nesse,
and by the help of friends here 1 a as
en'shled to fie out one tamely of five
complete, and \vhi:h the letter en-
closed will let all know how it was
appreciated. Then she largest h 'x

supply immediate wants of many oth-

Mr. W. .D. Sanders, 'of the second
concession of Stephen, threshed his
fall wheat last week and the rv-ults
were away above the average. One
field which was one of the finest
