The greenhouses were very large. It took one acre of glass to cover the entire area. They grow tomatoes for a main crop and they also grow flowers, small trees and are experimenting with others such as figs. They have 20,000 tomato plants watered by a computer controlled hose going to each plant. Everything else is done by hand; the pollinating, tying up and picking. The greenhouses are heated by special wood pellet furnaces. A week later we held our last meeting at Debbie Draper's. There we discussed quali- ty and grading of fruit sold in Ontario.
