Matron of honor was Audre Gommier of Brantford and bridesmaids were Shelley McPhee Haist of Clinton, Lydia Zak of Oakville, sister-in-law of the bride, and Virginia Caesar of Dungan- non, sister of the groom. Bestman was Eugene Johnston of Port Albert and ushers were Alex Chisholm of Dungannon, brother of the groom, Wayne Park of Dungannon and Ed Narejko of Brantford, brother of the bride. Ringbearer was Tyler Narejko, nephew of the bride. Following a dinner, and reception at Goderich Township Community Centre, the couple took a trip through,nor- thern Ontario and Quebec. Joan is the daughter of Mrs. Amy Eisenbach and the late Earl Eisenbach of Elmira. Rev. F. Bechely officiated at the ceremony. Matron of honor was Ethel Tuxford of RR 1 Woodham, aunt of the bride. Bridesmaids were Carole Roth, of Waterloo, sister of the bride, and Shirley Harris, of Welland, sister of the groom. Flowergirl was Emily Durst, of Kitchener, cousin of the bride. Best man was Eugene Crookes, of Toronto, friend of the groom. Ushers were Chuck Roth, of Waterloo, brother-in-law of the bride, and Bill Good, of Goderich, brother of the groom. Ringbearer was Brandon Eisen- bach, of Kitchener, nephew of the bride. Soloist and organist were Helen and Bruce Nuhn of Elora. A reception was held at Riverside Maples, St. Jacobs. Following a wedding trip to Northern Ontario, the couple have taken up residence at RR 5 Goderich. St. George's Anglican Church was the set- ting on Sept. 19/87 for the wedding of Lianne Elizabeth Shaw of Goderich and Kenneth James Swanson of Belgrave. Lianne is the daughter of John and Heather Shaw of Goderich and Ken is the son of Mrs. Jean Swanson of Belgrave. Rev. Douglas Pitts of- ficiated at the double ring ceremony. Soloist Angela Foran of Lucknow sang The Rose during the signing of the Register. Maid of Honour was Julie Nicholls of Wingham, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Teresa Shaw of Goderich, sister of the bride, Debbie Clark of Wingham, friend of the bride and Elaine Scott of Belgrave, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Andrea Lennie of North Bay, cousin of the bride. Bestman was Kent Hallahan of Blyth, friend of the groom. Ushers were Rick Swanson of Wingham,_ brother of the groom, Will Dowson of Belgrave, brother of the groom and David Scott of Belgrave, friend of the groom. Raymond Wiessen of Monkton, nephew of the groom was the Ringbearer. Following a reception at the Goderich Legion the couple left for a trip to Niagara Falls. The celebrant was Father Ed. Dentinger, The organist for the ceremony was Mrs. Marianne Hogan of Kingsbridge while Mrs. Betty Cox of Clinton was the soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Forster of Lucknow. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph VanOsch of RR 3 Lucknow. The bride's maid of honor was Helen Maclntyre, Lucknow, a friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Glenyce McClinchey, Auburn, cousin of the bride and Brenda and Agnes VanOsch, RR 3 Lucknow, sisters of the groom. Flowergirls were Lindsey Ray- mond, Lucknow, and Julie McCullough, Holmesville. The groom's hest man was Casey Hendriks, RR 7 Lucknow, friend of the groom. Ushers included John VanOsch, brother of the groom, Gary Forster, brother of the bride, and Jim VanOsch, cousin of the groom. Dinner and reception was held at the Lucknow Community Hall. Following their honeymoon to the Poconos, Penn- sylvania, Mr. and Mrs. Perry VanOsch are residing at RR 3 Lucknow. (photo by Harvey McDowell) OBITUARIES THOMAS LOUIS DORSEY' Thomas Louis Dorsey died Tuesday, Oc- tober 27, 1987 at the Mitchell Nursing Home. He was 67. A son of the late Louis Dorsey and Agnes Morris, Mr. Dorsey is survived by a brother Joseph and his wife Hazel of Dublin, and a sister Mary and her husband Vincent Gooder of London. Friends were received at the Whitney Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street Seaforth, and a Mass of .Christian Burial was held at St. Patrjckg Roman catholic Church in Dublin on October 30. Father Car- rigan officiated. Interment was at the St. Columban Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Arts, Joe Devereaux, Thomas Kale, Bill McLaughlin, Ferg Kelly, and Tom Melady.
