MRS. MARY HELEN HEI ,ESIC
Mrs. Mary Helen Helesic, a resident at
Maitland Manor, died at Alexandra Marine
and General Hospital Sunday, October 25 at
the age of 91.
Born in Czechoslovakia March 15, 1896,
she was the daughter of the late Frank and
Elizabeth Horka.
She was a member of Knox Presbyterian
Church, Goderich.
Surviving are four sons, Gerald of
Czechoslovakia, Mark of Toronto, William
of Goderich and James of Brampton. Also
surviving are nine grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband
Frank Helesic and one son Stephen.
The funeral service was held at the Mc-
Callum and Palla Funeral Home Tuesday,
October 27 with Rev. Robert Johnson of
Knox Presbyterian Church officiating.
Pallbearers were grandsons Robert
Helesic, Scott Helesic, Paul Helesic and
Randy Maize with special friends Paul
Baechler and 'Bob Spence.
Interment Maitland Cemetery.
MR. R. HUGH STEWART•
Mr. R. Hugh Stewart, a residen of
Meneset Park RR 5 Goderich, died at Alex-
andra Marine and General Rospital Mon-
day, October 12 at the age of 62.
Born in Hamilton February 21, 1925, he
was the son of the late William Stewart and
the former Alma Bailey. He was a farmer
in the Hagersville area until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife,. the former Ida
Wood, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Weisz of
Hamilton.
Funeral and committal services were
held at the McCallum and Pella Funeral
Home Wednesday, October 14 with Rev.
Bruce Tombs of Victoria Street United
Church officiating.
Cremation Woodland Crematorium,
Londpn.
MR. ELWYN CHESTER PFRIMMER
Mr. Elwyn Chester, Pfrimmer, of RR 4
Goderich, died at Royal Victoria Hospital,
Barrie, Sunday, October 18 at the age of 68.
Born in Benmiller October 21, 1918, he was
the son of the late Ernest Theodore Pfrim-
mer and the former Mabel Mohring.
He was a merchant at Benmiller Flour
and Food. He was a member of Victoria
Street. United Church and the Morningstar
Lodge No. 309, Carlow..
Surviving are one son Bill and his wife
Marie of Barrie; step -daughter Barbara
Youngblut of Goderich, step -soh, Don Mc-
Cormick of Niagara -on -the -Lake, step -son
Larry McCormick of Corunna; step -son Pat
McCormick of Tiverton and step -son Kevin
McCormick of St. Catherines.
Also surviving are two sisters Myrtle- North, Woodstock, with Pastor Jim
(Mrs. Roy Simpson) of Windsor and Grace DeMarsh of Hope Baptist Church

Surviving are her husband, Howard Har-
ris and one son Jim of Goderich.
Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Mrs.
Stella Carswell of Listowel. Several nieces
and nephews also survive.
The funeral service was held at the Mc-
Callum and Palla Funeral Home Friday,
October 23 with Rev. Byron Nevin of Knox
Presbyterian Church officiating assisted by
Rev. W.J.S. McClure. Soloist was John
DeJager.
BlueWater Chapter 284 Order of the
Eastern Star held a service Thursday even-
ing at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Bill Fritzley, Raymond
Scotchmer, Rae Mathers, David Thorne,
Donald Kernick and Mac Campbell.
Interment Maitland Cemetery.
CHARLES HIRIAM WIGLE
Charles Hiriam. Wigle, of RR 1 London
and formerly of Goderich, died Saturday,
October 10 in his 66th year.
Dearest father of Mrs. Robert (Karen)
Stepaniak of Kincardine, John of Komoka,
Scott,' Sheila and Kurt all at home. Most
treasured grandfather os Greg, Stephen,
Heather, Andrea, Alicia and Jackie.
Also survived by a brother, Frederick of
New Hamburg. •
Predeceased by his. wife, the former
Eleanor McLaughlin, and a brother, Ebon.
A memorial service was held at the
McFarlane and Roberts Funeral Home,
Lambeth, on Tuesday, October 13, with
Canon R.A.C. Mills officiating. Cremation
followed.
Memorial donations to the Canadian
Diabetic Association gratefully
acknowledged.

NORMAN RUSSELL TALBOT
Norman Russell Talbot, of RR 5
Woodstock and formerly of Bayfield and
London, died at the Woodstock General
Hospital Sunday, October 25 in his 76th year.
Surviving are his wife, the former Janet
A. Schell; daughter Nancy (and Laurence)
Jones of RR 5 Woodstock son William R.
(and Fran) Talbot of Bayt eld; son Douglas
(and Sandra) Talbot of London; son David
(and Diane) Talbot of Waterloo, and Leslie
Talbot of London. Father-in-law of Bonnie
Talbot of St. Thomas and a brother of Ken-
neth (and Phyllis) Talbot of Woodstock.
Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held today
(Wednesday) at. 2 p.m. at the. M.D. (Mac)
Smith Fuheral Home, 69 Wellington Street
RUTH HARRIS
Ruth Harris, of Goderich, died at the Alex-
andra Marine and General Hosptial
Wednesday, October 21.
Born in Grey Township, she was the
daughter of the late William John McLen-
nan and the former Matilda Maguire.
She was a member of Knox Presbyterian
Church, and a member of Blue Water
Chapter 284 - Order of the Eastern Star, as
well as Arthur Circle, Knox Church.

An avid fisherman as well, you could
usually find Glen beside his favourite
fishing spot on the days he thought the
weather conditions were just right, trying
to catch that elusive "big one".
Glen, the son of Bernice (Livingston)
Kemp and Gordon Kemp of RR 2,
Goderich, was born in Marietta, Georgia,
USA on March 25, 1962.
Glen attended LaBelle Public School,
Georgia; Grand Valley and District Public
School, Brookside Public School, Ashfield
Township and F.E. Madill Secondary
School, Winghaan.
Besides . his parents, Glen (known as
Bunny to his family and friends) is surviv-
ed by his brother Gordon and wife Brenda
of Ashfield Township and his sister Gail at
home.
He is also survived by his grandmother,
Mrs. Martha Livingston of Brampton;
family friend Miss Dorothy Beamish of
Brampton; uncles and aunts, Harvey and
Pat Livingston of Ashfield Township,
Harold and Elsa Livingston of
Orangeville, Cliff and Joan Livingston of
Lucknow, Bill and Marion Livingston of
Ottawa and 19 cousins.
He was predeceased by his grand-
parents Norman Livingston of Brampton,
Louise Pierce,British Columbia and Gor-
don Kemp., Toronto.
Glen rested at the McCallum and Palla
Funeral Home, Goderich from where the
funeral service was conducted by Rev.
Bruce Tombs of Victoria Street United, on
Saturday, October 24.
Glen's brother Gordon spoke about Bun-
ny as a loving son and brother and fellow
ballplayer, with John Edward of Skyhal;-
bour Refinishing Ltd., telling of Glen's
dedication to his job and his love for
fishing.
Larry MacPherson of Lucknow sang The
Lord's Prayer.
Flower bearers were a friend Troy Rit-
chie, Lucknow; cousins, Serena Liv-
ingston, Orangeville and Tracy and Lea
Anne Livingston of Lucknow.
Pallbearers were his brother Gordon;
his uncle Harvey; his cousins Leslie Liv-
ingston, Lucknow, Kirk Livingston,
Ashfield Township; friends, Shawn Dren-
nan, Ashfield Township, and Mike Hum-
phrey, Lucknow.
Burial was in Maitland Cemetery,
Goderich.
