COMMUNITY GROUP
On Wednesday evening October 7, a group
of interested parents and teaehers assembl-
ed at the school to discuss the viability of
building an adventure playground. It was
decided at the meeting that perhaps there
was a need to form some type of Colborne
Community Group.
This group could serve as a catalyst to
organize various social., sports or recrea-
tional activities that could be enjoyed by all
Colborne residents. Community projects
such as the Adventure Playground could
also be sponsored by this organization.
As a result, a follow-up meeting has been
scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday,
November 10 at the school. Everyone is
welcome. The film 'The Serious Business of
Play' will be shown. This will be followed by
a brief presentation by Mr. Paul Bradley
from Henderson Recreation, a company
who -design, and builds adventure
playgrounds. Please plan to attend.
