It's 2093 and we're fighting alien invaders
BY MARK SCHILBE
In the year 2093, we are fighting against
alien invaders from the planet Morka. They
had fired their super laser cannon. Now
volcanoes are exploding and earthquakes
were shaking, and, the world is going to ex-
plode in two days! A mass evacuation is in
progress.
It is now ten days later, aboard the
spaceship Starstream.
"Captain, the aliens are on our scopes.
What should we do?" asked the navigator.
"Land on that planet," said the captain as
he pointed to Malekar, a rich and vastly_
unexplored planet.
As we landed, we looked for predators but
found none on the surface. Down below, the
greatest danger we would ever face stirred
recklessly, and awoke!
Next day we decided we should live here,
and set up a base so some scouts are sent to
check out the area and came back with good
news. It seems there is a village run by
strange beings. They called themselves

Malekarians. A few miles away the ground
opened up, the creature got out and the
ground slowly closed as it headed toward
the camp.
Meanwhile in space a Morkaciana
spaceship heads toward Malekar.
At the village we were celebrating. Sud-
denly rain fell so we took our feast indoors. I
heard a story of a monster that ruled all but
now he rules the underworld. Later I receiv-

ed a red warning. I flew to see a monster
dragging away my ship.
"What about the human", I thought. Then
a Morkaciana spaceship came and opened
fire.
"This is crazy," I thought. Then the
ground started to give way. I jumped into
the ship and started it. We blasted off into
space. I don't know where I'll live. But I
know it's great.
