Tom and Arlene, ( nee Corrin ), are delighted
to announce the arrival of their second son,
Thomas "Devin", born Saturday, October 3,
1987, weighing 7 lbs. 3 ozs. A new playmate
for big brother Carey. Proud grandparents
are Dr. Mel and Marg Corrin, Lucknow and
Don and Rosemarie Sager, Goderich.

Doug and Nancy ( Sallows) are very proud
to announce the early arrival of their first
child, Stacey Lynn, weighing in at 6 lbs. 15
ozs. Born at St. Joseph's Hospital, London,
Ontario. Proud grandparents are Mr. and
Mrs. Ronald Sproul, Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Sallows. Great Grandparents Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Love, and Mrs. Ethel Sallows.

rival oftheir first child, a son, Cody James,
born Oct. 5, 1987, weighing 8 lbs. 91 ozs. A
first grandchild for Larry and Libby Wilson

Berry of Port Albert and Bill Berry of
Georgetown.

Stephen and Cathy proudly welcome the
safe arrival of their second son, Taylor
Blake, on October 16, 1987 at 2:45 p.m. Kyles
new brotherarrived early but weighed a
healthy 6 lbs. 6 ozs. Taylor wasborn in
Whitecourt Hospital, Alberta. He is the
seventh grandchild for Abe and Yvonne
Chase and the second for Bill and Mary
Wisser.

Harbour, from Sarnia, light for salt on Oct. 1
and cleared for Valleyfield and Montreal on
Oct. 2:
The Algowood' arrived from Sault Ste.
Marie on Oct. 5, light for salt and cleared for
Millwaukee on Oct. 6.
The Algorail arrived from Windsor, light
for salt on Oct. 11 and cleared for Detroit the
next day.
The Algosoo arrived from Sault Ste. Marie
on Oct. 13, light for salt and cleared the next
day for Kinston, Prescott and Valleyfield.
The Calcite II arrived from Duluth on Oct.
19, light for salt and cleared the same day
for St. Clair, Michigan.
The Beechglen arrived from • Thunder
Bay, with grain on Oct. 18.
The Canadoc arrived from Sarnia, light to
load corn on Oct. 15 and cleared on Oct. 16.

Brenda Leigh Stewart, daughter of Don and
Irla Stewart, graduated from the University
of Guelph with an honors B.A. Se. „degree
majoring in Consumer Studies with an em-
phasis in Housing. Formerly a graduate of
GDCI, she is now living in Toronto where
she is employed as a marketing analyst for
Trillion Management Corporation.
Kim Ainslie, son of Jean and John Schaefer,
and grandson of Mrs. Ada Ainslie of
Goderich graduated from the Faculty of
Graduate Studies at York University in
Toronto, June .16,.1987. Dr. Ainslie is also a
graduate of GDCI, the University of
Western Ontario and Queen's University,
Kingston. Currently, Dr. Ainslie is presi-
dent of the Nort3ek-CaMpanies- in London; -
Ontario, providers of management con-
sulting and market research services to
business, government, the media and politi-
cians. As a recipient of a, doctorate in
political science, Dr. Ainslie is pleased to
acknowledge the sponsors of the following
awards: the Queen's Graduate Scholarship,
the Ontario Government Scholarship, the
Canadian Federation of Independent
Business Doctoral Fellowship, and the UWO
Social Science Research Grant. Dr. Ainslie
has delivered several papers on business -
government relations to national and inter-
national conferences and his Ph.D. disserta-
tion was the first in Canada to address the
issue of small business, entrepreneurship
and the role of the state.
Jennifer Marie Campbell, daughter of
Malcolm and Roslyn Campbell, graduated
from the three-year nursing program on the
Dean's Honor List 'aC Georgian College,
June 12, 1987. She has successfully passed
the registration exam and is employed at
Victoria Hospital (Westminster Campus) in
London.
