Sunday's Walk-A-Dog'-A-Thon in Goderich was a family event for the McKenzie family of
Dungannon. Here, young Troy McKenzie leads the way while mom Helen holds Muffit's
leash and dad John carries the route map. Sponsored by area Lions Clubs, the event raised
about $3,250 for Canine Vision Canada, which trains guide dogs for the visually impaired.

Murray McLauchlan brought
by Port of Call Productions
So, have you noticed the new "kid" on the
block. The posters are up and the question
on everyone's mind is ... "Who are the Port
of Call Productions".
Several months ago, an advertisement
was placed in this newspaper asking anyone
who was interested in a performing arts
committee and being involved with a con-
cert featuring Murray McLauchlan to call
the Rec Department. A committee of nine
interested individuals met for the first time
in August and they have been active in en-
suring that their first production will be a
huge success.
Murray McLauchlan will be performing
at the Goderich Livery Theatre on Sunday,
October . 18 at 8 p.m. Tickets will be
available at three locations (Sam the
-Record Man, Campbell's Cameras, and the
Goderich Entertainer) for three days only —
October 8, 9, and 10. They anticipate ticket
sales to be brisk so I encourage those
