Week No. 19 of the GMSL is finished and
we're heading into our final championship
round in all but A Division.
In the first game of the A mini round,
Coyotes defeated Canadian Tire 13-7. Don
MacDonald was walked five times - must
be a'record! In the second game, Chrysler
edged the Coyotes by a 10-9 margin and in
the final, Chrysler pounded Canadian Tire
21-2. Thus, Chrysler finished third, Coyotes
fourth and Canadian Tire was eliminated.
In the first game of the A semi final,
Coyotes were leading Ideal 14-2 in the
fourth when the dam busted. Ideal scored
eight in the fifth and seven in the bottom of
the seventh to tie the game at 17 each. The
game was called on account, of darkness
and will be replayed in its entirety as a
fourth game in the series if necessary.
Their second game was the reverse as
Ideal jumped to a commanding 11-1 lead
'but Coyotes battled back for a 15-12 victory
on the strength of Dick Chalmers grand
slam in the bottom of the seventh.
In B Division, Dearborn Steelers took
the Chiefs 6-5 in the first game but lost the
second one by an 8-7 margin. In the third
