Heather Lindsay and Jim Keller were mar-
ried August 22 at Knox Presbyterian Church
in Goderich. John and Helen Lindsay, RR 1
Bayfield, are the parents of the bride, and
Ken and Shirley Keller, Goderich, are the
parents of the groom. Maid of honor was
Elise Lindsay, Toronto, sister of the bride,
and bridesmaids were Lori Maaskant,
Waterloo; sister of the groom, and Joan
Matsusaki, Hamilton, a friend of the bride.
Flowergirls were Charmaine Baxter,
Goderich, niece of the bride, and Jessica
Maaskant, Waterloo, niece of the groom.
Randy Keller, Toronto, was best man for his
brother, and ushers were friends of the
groom, Isaias Teves and Brad Reitz, both of
Toronto. Ringbearer was Christopher Bax-
ter, Goderich, nephew of the bride. Also
assisting at the ceremony were Lee and
Ricky Kerr, Goderich, nephews of the bride.
The officiating pastors were the Rev.
K.L.Zorn, Kitchener, and the Rev. Chris
Wither, formerly of Goderich, now of
Newfane, New York. Special wedding music
was played by violinists Ann Marie, Madon-
na and Caroline McQuaid, Seaforth, accom-
panied at the organ by Lorne Dotterer,
Goderich. Pollowing -a--honeymoon in
England and Scotland, Jim and Heather
have taken up residence in Guelph. Heather
is a third year student in Family and Con-
sumer. Studies at the -University of Guelph
majoring in nutrition, and Jim is in his final
year at the University of Toronto, faculty of

Lou -Ann Hope, of Goderich, and John
DeBruyn, of Goderich, were married at
Blenheim United Church, Blenheim, On-
tario, on Saturday, August 22, 1987. Rev.
Gordon Duncan of Blenheim United Church
and Father Paul Duplessie of St. Mary's
Parish, Blenheim, officiated. The bride is
the doughty of Harry and Shirley Hope of
RR 4, Blenheim (Guilds I. The groom is the
son Of Joe and Gloria DeBruyn of Hall
Street, Blenheim. Maid of honor was Kathy
Wood, friend of the bride, of Kitchener.
Bridesmaids were Susan Torrie, friend of
the bride, of Strathroy; Karen Steinmann,
friend of the bride, of Ingersoll; and, Cindy
Walters, cousin of the bride, of Dutton. Best
man was Bill Vermeersch, friend of the
groom,, of Blenheim. Ushers were , Joe
DeBruyn Jr., brother of the groom, of
Wallacetown; Albert Steinmann, friend of
the groom, of Ingersoll; and, Todd Hope,
brother of the bride, of Blenheim. A recep-
tion was held at St. Mary's Hall, Blenheim.,

60th wedding
anniversary
Victoria Street United Church, Goderich,
was the August 15, 1987, setting for the mar-
riage of Steven Murray Popp and Sandra
Diane Hulley. Rev. James A. Bechtel of-
ficiated. The bride's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon Hulley of Goderich. The
parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Mur-
ray Popp of Auburn. Maid of honor was Bet-
ty Popp, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids
were Evelyn Hakkers, Cathy Sudyk, Brenda
Popp, Kim Scott. Best man was Pauli Popp,
cousin of the groom. Ushers were Jerry
Hakkers, John Sudyk, Jeff Popp, John
Hulley. Master of ceremonies was Donny
Boyce, friend of the bride and groom.
Following a reception at the Saltford Valley
Hall, the couple left for a honeymoon to
parts of the United States. They have taken
up residence in Auburn.
On September 10, 1987 Anna and Howard
Johns of RH 4 Seaforth celebrated their 60th
wedding anniversary. A family dinner was
held at the White Carnation in their honor.
Special Guests were brother Allan and
wife Betty from Vancouver, Edwin and his
wife Jean from Seaforth. As well a nephew,
Ken, came from Los Angeles, California to
share this happy occasion, also a niece, Beth
Rose, and husband .Jack from Mitchell.
The family consisting of Stanley and June'
Johns of Seaforth, Eleanor and Lloyd Reibl-
ing of Baden, Anson and Evelyn McKinley
of Zurich and Gordon and Dianne Johns of
New Hamburg were present to share this
wonderful occasion.
Howard and Anna have lived all the 60
years on their farm in Tuckersmith.
Township where they settled as a bride and
groom on Septetnher 10/ 1927.
Also attending were 15 grandchildren and
14 great grandc'hi'ldren.
Bingham Park, Goderich, was the site of the
outdoor marriage on July 25, 1987, of
Richard Gautreau, of 400 Bayfield Rd.
Goderich, and Rosanna Geldhof, of 400
Bayfield Rd. Goderich. Rev. James A.
Bechtel officiated. The groom is the son of
Phyllis Gautreau of Saint John, New
Brunswick. The bride is the daughter of
Roger and Mariea Vandenbussche of David
Street, Mitchell. Maid of honor was Linda
Jeffrey, sister of the bride, of Stratford.
Bridesmaid was Darlene Prouse, friend of
the bride, of Clinton, and the flowergirl was
Natalie Brinda, niece of the groom, of
Niagara Falls. Best man was Gary Prouse,
friend of the groom, of Clinton. Usher was
Andrew Jeffrey, brother-in-law of the bride,
of Stratford, and ringbearer was Jason
Geldhof, son of the bride, of 400 Bayfield Rd.

Legion, the couple is residing at 400 Bayfield
