awareness in Goderich through tours, contests and displays, picked the winners on Satur-
day afternoon of the Heritage Hunt. Napier Simpson III, of Thornhill, won dinner for two at
itolhindale's in the over 12 category while Chris Martin, of St. Vincent Street in Goderich,

retreat this weekend.
The Victors Youth Evangelism retreat
taking place September llth until the 13th,
will feature Maury Blair, a popular guest
speaker and author of a Canadian best
seller "Child of Woe.'
Blair was abused as a child by his step-
father for the first thirteen years of his life.
At the Age of 19, he. turned to religion and
since then, has graduated from Eastern
Pentecostal Bible College and became an
ordained minister with the Pentecostal
Assemblies of Canada. He began helping
troubled youth 17 years ago as a councellor
for Teen Haven in Montreal.
He is currently the director of the Toron-
to Teen Challenge, a treatment centre for
young' men with emotional, .drug and
alcohol problems. Extending from this
base is Breakthrough Youth Ministries,
and Blair, as its executive director,
oversees the Kids Clubs, Prison Ministry
and Street Evangelism Teams that this
organization supports. He also hosts the
Breakthrough . Radio Broadcasts, which
deliver contemporary Christian music and
gospel preaching to three Canadian cities
and 42 countries of the world through the
IBRA Broadcasting Network.
To open the first day of the retreat, Fri-
day, September 11, Blair will be visiting
schools in the area. His first stop will be at
Robertson Public School at 10:45 and
following this, GDCI at 11:45. He will
speak at Holmesville Public School at 1:15
and Colborne Public School at••2:30 pm.
The remainder of the program will be
taking place , at Bethel Pentecostal
Assembly at 321 Bayfield Road. Registra-
tion for this will take place Friday at 7 p
atthe church with the first session be
ing at 7:30 pm.
Saturday. sessions take place at 9:
1 pm and 3 pm. There is one session on.
day at 10 am andhe will be preachin
the morning service.
For those participating at the church,
you are asked to bring your .bible, pencil
and paper, sleeping bag, pillow, change of
clothes, personal items, games, football

Blair has spoken at churches, banquets,
camps, rallies, high schools, retreats,
Men's Fellowship and Full Gospel
Businessmen's Meetings across Canada.
He has also spoken in the United States;
Hong Kong, Thailand, China and Iceland.
