A total of 10 teams of horses pulled in the corral at the fairgrounds. Two teams entered the Light Horse Teal) c•lass,.where the team weight could not :xceed 3300 Ib., without harness. Bob Lampman's team of Belgians, weighing 3190 lb., were able to out pull Bob McLachlan's 31021b., team of Percherons. Lampman is from Southwold and McLachlan lives at RR 3, Kippen. The eight heavy horse teams placed in the following order: 1. Lorne Birk, RR 2, Palmerston - Percherons; 2. Gary Kerr, RR 6, Goderich - Belgians; 3. Ross Young, RR 2, Tiverton - Belgians; 4. Arnold Young, RR 5, Goderich - Belgians; 5.
