Bill Patterson, a foreman with Great Northern Industries of Woodstock, applies AD
acoustical fiber to the ceiling of Memorial arena last week. Patterson said the material
should reduce the sound reverberation time in the arena from about 11 seconds to around
one and a half seconds. The material also acts as a fire barrier, he said. (photo by Tpd

Stage. Paul Massel (Tommy) and Allison
Grant (Fiona) are the featured romantic
leads in this captivating Scottish fantasy,
written by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick
Loewe. The original Broadway production

vacationing men, one romantic and the
other sarcastic, are given the choice, in the
form of two Scottish maidens, One sweet and
the other impudent, of remaining in Briga-
doon or going back to the hurly-burly of the
modern world.
The large cast consists of Paul Massel,
Murray Oliver, Allison .Grant, John Nelles,
David Francis, David Playfair, Karen Skid-
more, Deborah Tennant and the list goes on.
Set to the background of authentic Scotch
burrs, tartans, plaids and bagpipes, the ac-
tion moves through an inventive blending of
