Patient at Clinton Hos
Nicole Sherwood and her friend- Tara
Pyro visited for a few days with her grand-
parents Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood.
Mrs. Lil Rivett, who has been a patient
in the Clinton Hospital for several months,
is now in Huronview and would dearly love
some visitors.
On Monday last Gertrude Park
celebrated her 87th birthday with a picnic
supper at the home of her son Bill and his
family. Most of her friends attended and it
was a lovely day for all.
Congratulations to Rick and Dianne
Park and Tim and Wanda Hodges who
celebrated anniversaries this week.
Helen Dawson has returned home from a
ten day visit to Edmonton, Alberta with
her daughter Karen and husband John Lin-
ton, Alica, Mark and Colin. Alica returned
with her grandmother for a short holiday
here.
Matthew Shetler celebrated his llth bir-
thday on August 7 with his parents, Bob
and Heather and his grandmother. The
family celebrated by dinning out at a local
restaurant.
Bill and Marie Park and Brad have
returned home froln a visit with Marie's
uncle and aunt, Walter and Jessie
Carpenter of St. Catherines, at their cot-
tage on Georgian Bay.
Anne and Gilbert Millar have Mary and
Iau Taylor of Ayr, Scotland visiting with
them at present. The couple arrived in
Canada en August 7 and will return to
Scotland August 28. Mary is a sister to
Anne.
Sympathy is extended to Judy and Milne
Gregory and their family on the death of
Judy's father Melvin Brown of Thorndale.

Melvin was in his 69th year at the time of
his passing. Funeral services were held
last Thursday.
Mrs. Betsy Beton, daughter Susan and
husband John Dempsey of New Boston,
Texas, visited with Cora and Alvin Sher-
wood recently. They also called on Irma
Anderson and Hazel Babel of Goderich,
sisters of Cora.
Congratulations to 18 -year-old Marcia
Boak, daughter of Jim and Phyllis Boak,
on being chosen 'Miss Dungannon' for the
coming year. Also to Wendy Westecott on
being first runner-up and to Angela Glenn
for placing second runner-up.
Don't forget the annual Fall Fair this
weekend. There's fun for kids of all ages so
plan to attend.
Rogersons family holiday
Barbara Rogerson and her two sons,
Charles and Andrew of Torontm are spen-
ding a few days of their holidays with
Dorothy Finlayson.
Florence MacLennan and her friend
Shirley of Kitchener along with Collin
MacLennan of Agincourt were weekend
vistors with Rhetta MacLennan.
Peggy Heffernan of London and Finlay
MacLennan of Kitchener were with
Dorothy MacLennan on the weekend.
Elizabeth Wilkins of Mount Forest was
at home with her parents Charles and
Mayme Wilkins on the weekend.
Heather and Mark Darling are spending
a week of their holidays with their grand-
parents Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Robb.
Mrs. Sylvan Schmucker of Waldron,
Michigan visited recently with Ewen and
Mary MacLennan.

Missouri. The gentleman of the family is
interested in photography and has spent
some time taking photos of the gothic style
homes in the area which were built in the
late 1800's by the early settlers in Ashfield
Township.
