Tom Stark, vice-president of the Goderich Kinsmen, presents a cheque for $1,000 to
Marianne Gipson of Family and Children Services to send 10 children to camp. Gibson
oversees the camp project which employes two area students— Samantha McDonnough of
Goderich and Angela Chisholm of Bayfield. The camp costs about $80-$100 per child per

Summer hazards
At the first sign of sunbin'n, prcta'ent fur-

soothing water - a cool soak or a wet towel.
Use prescription or commercial sunburn lo-
tions when the pain is relieved. 1f the burn k

burn area with a, clean cloth and obtain
medical aid.
Bee and wasp stings can be fatal. It' the
victim ' shows signs of allergic reaction
(swelling around the eyes and mouth, hives,
severe nausea and difficulty in breathing
seek medical aid immediately. Start ar-
tificial respiration if necessary and take
precautions to prevent shock ( reassure vic-
tim, keep warm).
