Pte. Archie Davis. of Galt, was home for a few days returning to Galt on Morday. On Friday the boys will be joined by the boys from Hensall and will march To Dashwood. New recruits are being signed up nearly every day. There are still quite a number of prospects. Pte. Garnet eau is indisposed owing to foot trouble and Pte. Jack Mal- lett is laid up with la grippe. L. 'Corp. C. Harvey and Pte. harry Windsor, of the C. M. 111., Hamilton., spent the week -end at their, homes. Pte. 'Reg. Knight returned to Ham- ilton this week after recuperating at his home from an attack of pneu- monia. Maj. W. 3.
