dividuals problems. Mr. Hazlitt, we did
our very best in choir even though we often
felt like giving up. Merci, Mme. Mrs.
Fisher, whenever one of us tried skin -the -
cat but ended up skinningour knees, you
were there to nurse the hurt. Mr. Stephen-
son, you werealways good for a "G day"
while you swept the gym floor. Mrs. Allen,
you taught us to train our bladders to wait
in Grade 1. Mr. Sanders, I still remember
your words "Where is my book?" You'd
blame us for taking it and then you'd find -
it, right where you had left it. To all Mr.
Harman's future science classes, a warn-
ing, be very quiet or you'll end up writing 6
boards about a frog's life cycle. And to all
the other teachers that have helped pave
the way through our elementary . school
years our sincere thanks - and to each
graduate, thank you - we have stuck
together through wins and losses, trium-
phs and disappointments.
By us sticking together, I mean selling
daffodils for cancer research in the bitter
cold, sweltering in the .classrooms while
trying to finish tests and of course - mak-
ing it through all Mr. Ross's jokes and
puns. -
Oh, by the way, everyone's invited to
Mr. Ross's house after ceremonies for a
'donut party.
• Over the last 9 years we have shared
many happy, moments together. How well
I remember our Kindergarten graduation
when we entertained our parents by doing
a dance after Mr. Kane handed out our
diplomas and we proudly shook his hand.
Grade one was a very scary year. We
learned how to read and print. The
highlight of grade two was, a trip to
Ferguson Apiaries for a taste of honey. In
grade three, we started learning

multiplication facts and participating in
public speaking.` Oh how our knees would
shake! In grades 4-8 we became much
more actively involved in school events.
We played volleyball, 2 pitch, soccer, floor
hockey. We also participated in student's
council events such as dances, sold cheese,
magazine subscriptions and had Hallo-
ween parties. We learned a- lot about

Together we have agonized over tests,
practiced for tournaments and track
meets, researched, sewed; hammered and
memorized lines for concerts.
Fond memories of our years here at Col-
borne are neatly packed away . in our
minds. It's great to laugh about some of
GREAT GAMES, GREAT LEARNING, GREAT DEAL.
