The family of Vic Taylor, of Clinton, is
pleased to announce his marriage to Mabel
Aberhart, of London, on Saturday,
December 6 at First Westminster United
Church, London, with Rev. Barry Robin-
son officiating. After a winter stay in
Florida, the couple will reside in Clinton.

Angela Dawn 'Gower ,and Todd James
Davies were married,on November 15 at On-
tario Street United Church, Clinton. Rev.
David Woodall officiated. Angela is the
daughter of Don and Joan Gower of Clinton.
Todd is the son of Len Davies of Vanastra
and Colleen Davies of Goderich.
Bridesmaids were Leigh Anne Taman of
Bayfield, Ellen Gower of Clinton, Colleen
Gower of Clinton and Becky Basler of
Vanastra. The best man was Terry Davies
"'" of Vanastra. Ushers were Frank Schloen-
dorf of Vanastra, Kevin Davies of Vanastra,
Mike Bell of London and Michael Davies of

December meeting in Colborne Township
Hall Thursday, Dec. 11 began with a pot-.
luck luncheon. After the meal, Mrs. E.
Reaburn, president opened the meeting
welcoming all, and 15 members answered
the roll call with a Christmas poem or wish.
Minutes of last meeting were read by the
Secretary, Mrs. G. Kaitting and cor-
respondence was attended to. A motion to
send a Donation to the Salvation Army was
passed.
Three baskets of food etc. and a lovely
Christmas Door Wreath were realized from
members' donation and winners in the draw
were Mrs. E. Bogie, Mrs. J. Wilson and Mrs.
N. Clairmont drew baskets and Mrs. L.
Fulford received the wreath. Lucky
member for the chair prize was Mrs. E.
Bogie who received a Door Wreath. Special
thanks to Mrs. G. McBride for a donationof
a jar of pennies. Of special interest was the
display of Christmas Wreaths and articles
Mrs. A. Young and Mrs. G.H. Feagan had
made. Mrs., L. Fulford donated an apron
with pockets - a special fund raising article
to be used at meetings. Club of
The newly formed Community
Saltford and district had their first card par-
ty in Saltford Valley Hall on Wednesday,
Dec. 10. It was a success as they had 8 tables
playing - 33 people were interested. High
scores ,- Doris Cunningham. and Michael
Foley; low scores - Helen Dickson and Bill
Nagele. Plans are to hold these card parties
every second Wednesday in the month star-
ting with Jan. 14, 1987.

Lake Harbour, N.W.T. have been visiting
