Mr. and Mrs. Alf Weston of Toronto spent
the weekend visiting with her mother, Mrs.
Rollison, and brother Murray. While there,
they celebrated Mrs. Rollison's 94h
birthday.
The general meeting of the UCW will be
held on November 26 at 2 p.m. at the church.
The last Horticulture Society meeting for
the year was held November 10 at 8 p.m. at
the .Auburn Community Hall with president
Don Haines welcoming everyone.

ing worship service at Holmesville United
Church. Rev. Bechtel officiating.

Holmesville.
Sympathy is extended to Alice and Will
Porter on the death of Alice's brother
Thomas Chambers of Goderich.
Isabel Sturdy was. leader for the
Holmesville UCW Remembrance Day ser-
vice., She opened the meeting with the
poem, "In Flanders Field" followed by the
singing of the hymn "God of our Fathers."
During the worship service, Kaye Harris ,
read an article entitled "Place in the
Heart" followed by an article on peace
read by Bessie Towshend. The 1962 article
was found in the Old Saint Paul's Churchin
Baltimore. A meditation entitled "To
Know God" was given by Isabel Sturdy.
Doris Batkin closed the worship service
with a pFayer.
