Festival
hopes to
expand fund
STRATFORD — The Festival 'here an-
nounced it is seeking donations for the Anne
Selby Scholarship Fund and the Nicholas
Pennell Workshop Fund. The creation of
both funds was announced October 12 at the
I ese,4t t.i(.f of the Festival's 1986 Tyrone
Guthrie Awards.
The Anne Selby Scholarship Fund, named
in honor of the Festival's former Director of
Communications, was created with a 1986
Guthrie Awards Committee grant of $3,000.
The Scholarship Fund will provide financial
assistance for successful applicants who
wish to spend time in study of research at
Anriaghmakerrig, the Irish home of the late
Tyrone Guthrie, founding artistic director of
the Stratford Festival.
Donations to both the Anne Selby Scholar-
ship Fund and the Nicholas Pennell
Workshop Fund are income tax deductible
and should be sent to either Stratford
Festival/Anne Selby or Stratford
Festival/Nicholas Pennell, P.O. Box 520,
