NE S •CHAMPION.
OGRE S
For over 50 years a bond has existed between the County of Huron
and Champion Road M ichinery. Progress has been continuous for
both over the years and today that bond is stronger than ever. Since
the purchase of our first Champion hydraulic grader (5th ever pro-
duced in 1936) to present, the over 400 miles of County road have
been ma}ntained with the help of the best machine available...the
Champion grader, produced by the best people at what they do.. The
Gradei People.

that
pride is displayed by those residents who are, and have been,
employed by Champion over the years. The people make the pro-
gress and the progress makes the people.
Sharing in this landmark achievement the residents and administra-
tion of Huron County offer a special Congratulations to Champion
Road Machinery on a job well done.
Since the 1880's the road crews of Huron County have been bulding and maintaining hundreds of miles of road. Cham-
pion Graders have been a major part of this task throughout the years and today Huron County Highways rely on Cham-
pion graders to keep people on the move. Shown above are the Huron County Highways employees representing the
Auburn, Zurch and Wroxeter depots.
Saluting Champion on 100 Years of Excellence!
