GDCI drama club to
present three plays
The G.D.C.I. Drama Club presents three
one act plays on November 6, 7 and 8 at
G.D.C.I.'s main auditorium. The plays are
The Fenians, written and directed by Mr.
Salter, Voices of Desire, directed by
Shawn Vincent and Impromptu, directed
by Mr. McMillan.
Historically, the Fenians were Irish im-
migrants who fought against British in-
fluence in North America. The Fenians
tell us about standing up for what we
believe in and ignoring what other people,
say or do, making decisions that affect our
lifestyle aiiu we uves of others.
Voices of Desire' shows the love of people
but there is always one who disapproves of
what the other is doing. When one person
makes the decisions it can lead to pro-
blems and heartache.
Impromptu deals with four characters
who have to create a play that is realistic.
Each of them has to decide on,,what they
really -want and how to go about it.
This evening ,performance looks like it
will offer something for everyone. The
curtain opens at 8 p.m. sharp. Tickets are
available at the door.
