as the Anglican Church Women's group held
its annual Hollyberry Bazaar and Luncheon

The October meeting of the Nile U.C.W.
was held recently at the home of Winnifred
Girvin.
During the meeting, President Beth
Rutledge read a poem entitled Counting.
The worship service, which followed the
meetings Thanksgiving theme, was con-
ducted by Bessie McNee.
Invitations were received from North
Street United Church and Auburn United
Church to attend their Thankoffering
meetings.
A letter of thanks from Hazel McMichael
was read thanking Nile U.C.W. for the ef-
fort they made in hosting the Annual
Rally -West Huron Region in September.
The November meeting of Nile U.C.W.
will consist of a produce and bake sale.

Coast Indians
Forty-six members and guests were pre-
sent when the Evening Unit of North Street
United Church Women met for their October
meeting. -
Edna Looker opened the meeting with a
poem "God Meets Us" followed by a prayer.
A saxophone' solo was enjoyed when
Shirley McMillan played "The Saviour Is
Waiting to Welcome You In" with Joan Hen -
wood as accompanist.
Isobel Rittinger and Joan Bannerman
read an interesting profile, choosing the
Pacific Coast Indians as their subject.
Lois and Murray McGill honoured us
with an interesting and enlightening slide
presentation and commentary on their re-
cent trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Win Ferris conducted the business portion
of the Meeting.
The November meeting will be het& at
Maitland Manor.

Fanshawe College will honour its outstan-
ding students at the Seventeenth Annual
Awards Night to be held Friday, November
14 at Fanshawe College. The ceremonies to
recognize those Fanshawe students who
have made significant achievements while
at the College will begin at 6 p.m. in Room
D1060 of the Main Campus, London.
Guest speaker at the awards ceremony
will be Robert (Bob) G. Mepham, Vice -
President Administration and Customer
Service, London Life Insurance Company.
Among the . award winners was Loni
Fisher of Goderich, the recipient of the On-
tario General Contractor's Association
Highest Proficiency Award.
