The company ascertained that Alexan- dra Marine and General Hospital was in, need of. a special kind of microscope for use in the operating room. So, through a special promotion, every donation made by customers towards this project, Zehrs is offering a free hot dog and soft drink. The new microscope will save parents and children the necessity of travelling to other cetnres for diagnosis and treatment. Countless hours of anguish will be eliminated. The nursing staff and doctors of AM and G, plus members of the Hospital Auxiliary and three local sorority groups, have com- bined as a,,team of volunteers to man the _ • t., ad <. After Five Club learns about pets When that adorable puppy with the red ribbon on looks up at you from the store win- dow and seems to be saying, "please take me home for Christmas," we will be much wiser as to what to look for. Dr. Robin Wiley, Veterinarian, brought a live dog and cat to the Goderich and District After Five Club, Oct. 28 and showed some important areas to examine and look for while deciding if this is the pet you should bring home to your family. The Chapelites provided some very en- joyable music for the evening. Guest speaker, Alma Petersen from Paris, Ont. explained how she always wanted Freedom and yet was a follower, do- ing -the right things for the wrong reasons. She explained how her mother's death n'fade her ask the question of her own life, "Am I doing anything of real lasting value?" Alma decided that the only way she could teach her children about God was that she had to know Him better herself. Both Alina and her husband fly planes and she stated that in order to navigate your • plane you certainly need to know how to use the charts to know where you're going. She said it is the same in life. In order to know where you're going you need to know God's chart, the Bible. Alma said'that she found real freedom in knowing that she is living for God.
