Equipment was designed by Chandler to cut the bulk soap into bars, wrap the bars, and dispense the liquid soap into bottles. All the work is done manually by employees. Two people wrap 400 bars per day by hand and one person can fill 450 bot- tles of liquid soap per day. Chandler says they've alt•eady been' gdti- ting orders for the soap. They also make a variety of bathroom accessories and Christmas decorations which will be for sale at the craft show. Suncoast Enterprises will be one of 40 exhibitors at the craft show on October 22, 25and 26. Donna Crawford, convenor of the annual event sponsored by Blue Water Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, No. 284, is hop- ing her work toward getting a variety of exhibitors in planning the event will pay off. She expects a good turnout, as the an- nual fair is well-known in the area and many people plan ahead to attend. Exhibitors will be displaying their crafty wares ranging from toys and novelties to stained glass to knitting and weaving. Every hour during the three-day show, door prizes will be awarded which are donated by exhibitors from outside Col- borne Township. There will also be fruits, vegetables and maple syrup sold outside the hall. During Crawford's last four years as convenor, she'd been trying to make the country fair more unique by seeking out various craft exhibitors. She hasattended many craft fairs in search of candidates for a unique show in Saltford. The fair has been planned a week later than it was last year "to get away from Thanksgiving weekend," says Crawford. "We're hoping to get a good crowd and have the most successful show yet. The craft fair will beopen from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, and 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 25.
