Deb Perkins and the staff for taking the
time to teach them how to identify a tree.
Robertson's instrumental music program
is off to a great start again ,this year. The
Grade 8 class has just about polished off the
summertime rust, and the Grade 7s are just
bursting with enthusiastic musicians!
To clear-up some confusion about borrow-
ing instruments...
1. Students may take ifistruments for
practice the night before the day of their
class and bring the instrument back in the
morning when they come to class.
2. Students may borrow instruments on
the other nights if the student having class
the next day (who has first choice) has not
taken it out for the night.
3. This means that each student can prac-
tice each day, either at the morning session
or in the evening, depending onohe day.

in leaves, chestnuts, evergreen branches,
and toadstools.
They have' a "Signs of fall" sign on the
bulletin board in the room. The pupils are
looking for signs as they are walking to and
from school.
Mr. Currie's Grade . 5s have made very
good progress with logs on the Commodore
64 Computer in the room. By means -of very
simple commands, the pupils are beginning
to move the turtle around the screen and can
