Mrs. Clarke's grade 3 class has been ex-
ploring balloons this month.
In balloon experiments they learned that
air has weight, and they also learned how to
"predict".
They've written balloon stories and
they've eaten balloons (well...cookie
balloons! ).
They're now exploring trees with eight
tree centres.
They've also been introducing each other.
Last week we introduced David Adams, and
this week its Simone Bleeker's turn.
New authors
Mrs. Worsell's grade 5 class has written
two books called "How to Feed a Kid" and
"How to Feed a Monster."
It would take a very innovative cook to
prepare some of those menus!
Sports at Brookside
The 50 km club started Tuesday
September 23. Interest is high for this club
at Brookside. There are so many people par-
ticipating that you can just follow the crowd
to find the track!
