Reunion held
at H arb or Park
Eighty-five people gathered on the
weekend of Sept. 6 and 7 to enjoy an Edward
Reunion.
The families chose Goderich for the event
because it was to this area their forebearers
immigrated from Banffshire, Scotland in
the 1830's.
Included were visitors from Sault Ste.
Marie and Dayton, Ohio. Twenty-two
members of the clan came from
Mississauga including the youngest Edward
at two weeks.
The James Edward family of Clinton
organized the reunion and had worked for
over a year finding "lost cousins". Harbor
Park proved a delightful place for getting
acquainted and exchanging family
histories.
Beatrice Geiger +f Zurich visited her -
sister Gertrude A: itting in Goderich last
Saturday.
Sincere sympathy s extended to the fami-
ly of the late Gerrit hoemaker of Saltford.
