Hi,
My name is Bryan Lahey. My birthday
was on Sept. 1 and I was 4 years old.
I live in Goderich with my mom & dad,
and mylittle sister Jessica. I had a big bir-
thday celebration with my friends and
relatives. I'd like to say happy birthday to
my Uncle Brad who has the same birthday
as I do. Also I'd like to say happy birthday to
my grandpa Kevin. Thank you for letting
me join your birthday club.

I had a family party on Sunday and

Ladies visit Huronview
for a tasty barbecue
HURONVIEW - Since the Clinton
Playground Program is closing for the sum-
mer, it seemed only fitting that a number of
the young people with leader Rhonda Lobb
visited with the residents of Huronview on
Monday afternoon.
The ladies from Park Place were treated
Tuesday noon to barbecued weiners and
hamburgers with all thetrimmings to make
them even more tasty. The aromas coming
from the grill serve to satisfy the dullest of
appetites.. Later in the afternoon, residents
who are members of the Bluewater Blind
Club were in attendance for a pot luck sup-
per and entertainment at the Wesley -Willis
Church in Clinton.
The auditorium was filled to capacity.
Wednesday afternoon, where the August
birthday party took place. The Seaforth
Seniors were in charge of the program.
Musical selections were played on the
violin, accompanied on the piano j y Denise
Hulley and Gladys Van Egmond. A
humorous reading was given by Mary Chap-
ple. Mouth organs have been on the market
for a good many years and to this day they
-have not lost their appeal. Ethel Haist
played a medley of old-time tunes on her
mouth organ. Margaret Lane chose selec-
tions familiar to everyone for her piano
numbers. Winona Pipe gave a reading on

Diane Shapton played a few tunes on the
ukelele, and accompanied the singing of
Edit Carachan and Christine Gordon who
are in the kindergarden class at Brucefield
Public School. At the conclusion of the pro-
gram everyone sang Happy Birthday, then
refreshments' were served.' Ivy Scott.
thanked the Seniors of Seaforth for coming
to the Party.•
Thursday noon, the ladies from Huron
Heights and residents from East Dale sat
down to their dinner consisting of ham-
burgers and hot dogs. We are fortunate to
have had ideal weather conditions for our
outdoor barbecues.'
Rev. John Pluta conducted Roman
Catholic Mass Friday morning.
The weekly activities ended with the usual
round of bingo.
The fall programs are in the planning
stage, and we hope that they will be as new
and exciting as in the past.
Rev. David Snihur was welcomed to the
morning worship today. David and his fami-
ly are home from holidays now, and Huron -
view residents are happy to have him back.
During the service, Elsie Henderson and
Margaret McQueen sang a duet. In the even-
ing a number of ladies from Park Place with
Evelyn Archer, took a drive to Goderich to
attend the band concert
