Garden Club plans trip to Royal Garden
The Goderich Garden Club .has an in-
teresting and exciting Fall Program plan-
ned for its members and all the folks who
love gardening, flowers and Nature.
It is in some ways a sad time of year, but
with it all comes one of the gayest times of
years, namely, it is nearing that season
when our beautiful trees don their gayest
garb. It is the time we think of putting our
roses, favourite shrubs; etc. to bed, plan-
ting those exotic bulbs for that exciting
time when the white blanket shrinks back
and Nature begins her miracle all over
again.
A bus trip to the Royal Botanical
Gardens Annual Ikenobo Flower Show is
planned for Sunday, September 28th. The
trip, including a stopover at Dundern Cas-
tle where we can eat our box lunch, our en-
trance to the show and smorgasboard din-
ner on our return trip will only cost $31.00
for, Garden Club members, (a.membership
fee of $2.00 extra will apply for non-
