Clayton H. Edward, 74, of 22 Victoria St.
S., Goderich, died in Victoria Hospital,
® London on Sunday, Aug. 17, 1986.
® Born in Goderich Township of a pioneer
n family, he was the son of the late Charles
® T. Edward and Alice (Hick) Edward. He

He is survived by his wife Madeleine

GORDON WILFRED REIS
Gordon Wilfred Reis, 83, of Goderich, died
Thursday, Aug. 21, 1986 at his residence.
Son of the late George Reis and the late
former Margaret Pauli, he was born Nov. 8,
1902 in Ellis Township. A retired carpenter
with Sifto Salt Mine, he was also a member
of Knox Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ger-
trude Thamer, his children Marion and
Harold Warren, of London, Jack and
Evelyn, of Listowel and Bill and Beverly, of
Belleville, one brother Fred, of Brunner,
one sister Lorinda, Mrs. John Debus, of
Hillside Rest Home, 15 grandchildren and 13
great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two grandchildren
in infancy, on_ brother Clarence and two
great granddaughters.
Funeral services were held Saturday,
Aug. 23 at McCallum and Palla Funeral
Home with Rev. G.L. Royal, of Knox
Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment
Maitland Cemetery.
Fiowerbearers" were Larry Warren,
George McCabe and Roy Kingsley.
Pallbearers included Jeff Warren, Bill
Reis Jr., John Reis, Dennis Drennan, Lloyd
Debus and Bob Cook.

and General Hospital.
Daughter of the late David Brown, of
Poland and the late former Rosa Shomet, of
Broidy, Austria, she was born Feb. 24, 1904
in Goderich.. A housewife, she was a
member of Fairmount ei 1e in Cleveland,
Ohio.
She was predeceased by her husband
Abraham Gitson, a daughter Roslyn Gitson

Leeb and three brothers Charles, Ralph and
