New Dungannon fair
queen is crowned
Twelve young women from Ashfield,
West Wawanosh and Colborne Townships
competed for the honour of being chosen
Miss Dungannon Fair for 1986.
Miss Denise Maize, the 1985 Dungannon
Fair Queen crowned Vicki Pentland,
daughter of Nellie Pentland as the new
queen while Kay Edward, daughter of
John and Sharon Edward was chosen as
first runner-up and Heather Curran,
daughter of Stuart and Cathy Curran was
second runner-up. Cindy Robson, daughter
of Roy and Mary Robson was chosen as
Miss Friendship by a vote from all of the
contestants.
Vickie Pentland will now represent Dun-
gannon Fair at several functions during the
year, including the .Miss Mid -western
Ontario competition held in Lucknow and
the Miss C.N.E. competition held in
Toronto next August.

visitors. from Calgary
Bob and Karol Mullin and boys John,
Jerry and Ross of Calgary, Alberta visited
with their aunt and uncle Beck and Harvey
Culbert and family, Lynn and Corey, Bev
and family at the trailer camp on the holi-
day weekend. They also visited at Harvey
and Beck's on Tuesday before leaving for
home on Thursday.
Mike Mahar of Burke, Virginia, visited.
recently with his grandparents Don and Lee
Shetler.

Bill and Marie Park quietly celebrated
their 30th anniversary on Monday with
members of their family at the home of their
daughter Wanda and son-in-law Tim
Hodges.
Dunlop Days contest winners
During the Tiger Dunlop Days festivities
on the weekend, several contests for babies
with fun and the enjoyment being the end
result. The order of finish for girls were: 1st,
Tiffany Gaynor; 2nd, Samantha Marshall;
3rd, Jessica Pennington, Finishing first in.
the baby boys was Maxwell Bourdeau, with
Mark Ethelston in second. For the "older"
youngsters, Cathrine and Christine Good,
the twins, shared first prize; Ashleigh
Miller was second; Nicole Marleau was

selected in third place.
Master Tiger Dunlop winners were Jef-
frey Shelton in first, Michael Sullens in 'se-
cond, and Ian Young in third. In the stroller
contest, Rebecca Anne May Campbell took
first prize, Amanda VanAaken second, and
Nicole Marleau third. A great variety of
hats were seen as well with Erica Piskorski
selected as having the best hat, Ashley
Leeking second, and Maxwell Bourdeau, in
third.
